Think i will be to a FFRR too.....

I have to say though after a really bad two years with the FFRR I just needed a change to restore my faith in the brand.
So far its working actually. I do find that there are just a few things missing in the car. Not to mention the V8 but thats a whole different story.
All in all I feel I am really happy with the rrs, but when i have to change I know where my money will be going ! Smile

RRS is a great car - FFRR is a great car but my 2010MY is missing somethings that I had on the RRS (ACC and DR) that would make the 3.6 FFRR even better. The 2011MY 4.4 Tdv8 has sorted that ot as it now has both the bits I miss but now a new FFRR is well out of my spending league. My 2010MY FFRR has so far proved a bit cheaper to run than the 3.6RRS too - it burns less fuel - n local driving it's quite easy to achieve 30-32mpg in my FFRR and I have seen 34 on the motorway and driving it "sensibly" (the way a FFRR likes to be driven!), struggled to get 28-29 in the RRS 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I have had several RRsports and a FFRR and it is difficult to compare, If i were doing lots of motorway miles then the FFRR would win hands down for me but driving on A and B roads as I do mainly then the RRS wins hands down for me, Its all down to personal taste and requirements some of my Previous cars

It's a Jazz and it's a damn sight more reliable than piggin LR!! Ner Ner

Tim, Beemer M estate on order as main car, D3 (known on here as Pikeymobile) is now a glorified offroader. Not jealous of a RRS, do quite like the FFRR but after owning LRs since 1989 my money isn't going anywhere near Solihull. They say LRs get in your blood but they are also the cure for that. Whistle Whistle

I understand your dismay Derek - over on FFRR I think it's now 3 guys in the last week have sold and moved on to Skoda Yeti's or Nissan pathfinders - FFRR proving too unreliable and too costly to maintain.
On my "interested" list for a car that would fit into my garage were Audi A6 Allroad, Skoda Yeti Elelgance, Honda CRZ (no, not the CRX) or a Nissan Leaf. The lead in time for the Evoque was shorter than all of them!
