I bit the bullet and ordered a Sliding Load Floor today. Will post how easy/hard it was to fit (assuming it does actually fit) when it arrives. Landrover have the fitting instructions in the RRS section so not expecting any problems, I may have missed that as I only noticed them in the Discovery section before.

Order was placed with lrseries.com and the total cost including delivery to Shetland and VAT was £667.98 which was the best price I could find.

Sliding load floor arrived yesterday and I fitted it today no real problems. You do loose about 4" in height although there is space underneath for shallow items (I keep two of these folding plastic shopping boxes there). After a short test drive with nothing on the floor I was pleased there was no rattle or any noise from it. The floor can easily be removed (two people help here) if more height is needed or for access to the tools and spare wheel.

I've put some pictures in my gallery to give some idea of what the floor looks like closed and fully open. The blue thing underneath is one of those folding plastic shopping boxes.

Removal is very simple if a little awkward for one and gives access to the tools and spare wheel, it also retains the full headroom when required.
