I used to have an S Class 320 diesel and what a machine that was. the only problem i found with merc's is, is the dealers themselves.

Wife has an A4 we bought it new and have had loads of trouble/problems(expensive ones aswell)in saying that she loves it and wont change it and I must admit it drives well.As for Merc. as already said the dealers seem to be the problem,I managed to get her to one to test drive a Clk and they couldn't even be bothered to get back to us with a price.

Very true. Same Merc dealer I keep going to in Brentford on the A4 are arses. But today the guy was there was alright actually. Made a change.

So the car is on my short list.

Saw a 320 coupe in white today that looked really nice,I've never had a beemer although driven plenty so I may go for one for a change for her.
