Is it worth snowfoaming if you wax?

My understanding on snowfoam is it sticks to the paint work and lifts the dirt as it drops, but if you use a decent wax this is what happens.

I bought a DA machine polisher last weekend but I had to go and fix a mates power shower whilst I was doing it so only got the chance to do the front wings and bonnet

Yes it's still worth it, it's still loosening dirt that's on the waxed panel and taking it with it, it's just that not as much dirt will have stuck

Re: Is it worth snowfoaming if you wax?

Sorry for my ignorance but does this snowfoaming really work, is it for lightly soiled dirt or can it remove a weeks worth of M'way dirt to?

I have looked it up and its suggested its snowfoamed and left for a time before rinsing and no contact is needed with a sponge to clean it, is this correct? --------------------------

It loosens dirt, soften splatted bugs, thus reducing the risk of scratching the car at the handwash stage

It can be used as part of a touchless wash, but these will not remove 100% of the dirt, I find there is a film of grime left which stands out on my White car

Also if you've waxed the car make sure you use the PH neutral snowfoam so it does'nt take the wax off. Thumbs Up

Interesting - but one thought....dont think I am going super enviro friendly or anything, but as a bit of a country boy, I am wondering - is all that stuff eco-friendly? What happens when it gets into the ditch as run off from the drain? Looks pretty nasty to our fishy friends? Confused

i am just the same when it comes to washing the car and it has also been passed down to my lad.
not sure if you know but you can get just the simple snow foam or snowfoam with added wax,i/we use the latter.

i used to use Autobright Super snowfoam, which gave good foam, but still left a fair bit of grime

I recently swapped to Valet Pro Orange Pre Wash

not a snow foam as such, but through a high pressure washer and foam lance it foams nicely and does quite a good job
