I have to say the back of the car gets no dirtier than it did before. This is a pleasant surprise and must be because of the favourable airflow. As for the replacement silencers (not just tips), subjectively they've made no difference though this may be wishful thinking. I had an opportunity to be outside the car while someone drove off in it (with my permission I hasten to add) and I did find it very slightly noisier than I expected but my expectations are based on how quiet it remains from the driver's seat. I'm not in a position to say whether the sound from outside is any worse than before the new exhausts.

I considered getting the SC grille etc when I ordered the car but the dealer kept making excuses and when the car arrived at their premises in May I had the chance to look at a few examples in various colours both with and without the SC grilles. I decided that while the standard grey grille detracts from and cheapens all the other colours this was somehow not the case with the Bonatti Grey. This is all personal preference, of course, so you may not agree but I think the pseudo colour-coded look works quite well and it was never my intention to create a SC lookalike. EG I always planned to change the wheels and the Stormers just happened to be laying there unloved when I visited Overfinch to look at their 22" Tigers. I'm changing the badges because silver on black will look better and if I had the choice black on silver would be better still. Range Rover Sport TdV6HSE in Bonatti Grey + 20" Stormer wheels (ex X5 and ML driver)
