Loads in here http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/finance-insu...-vf24.html , remember a RRS is just a D3 in drag! My cars covered by Warranty Direct & so far they have been excellent at paying out. |

Thanks for that . If you have a claim do you have to pay the money to the garage then reclaim it from the warranty company?? |

one thing with WD (applies to them all actually. And insurance too) - get a quote but don't follow through with it. Wait a day or two and they'll start calling/emailing you. Guarantee you will get 15% or more off, plus free 'extras' like sat nav cover. |

15%?? Was nearer 50% off when I did it. Treat em mean & keep em keen. The "today only" offer will be around tomorrow, and the next day, so you can go through the small print. Post here or D3side what you've been offered and peeps will either be mildly upset that you've haggled a better deal or tell you what they pushed for and got. Mention RRSnort.co.uk or DISCO3.CO.UK to get a "club" discount as well. |

Or you could try http://www.warrantywise.co.uk/?_=kw:warranty+wise|cgn: you DON'T have to pay up front for your repairs they settle the bill direct with the garage, but as said above DON'T take out cover with their first quote. |

I must admit will have a good look at WW at renewal. Will be OK for this renewal in May but got to stay under 100k for WD or WW warranty in 2012. Above that warranties become problematic |

and you want to do business with these people? they're taking the mickey. and if they're routinely looking to shaft customers on price then it doesn't bode too well for claim time, does it? avoid. |

If I'd taken that attitude I'd have been well out of pocket. You pays yer money etc but so far I've no regrets using these policies. At 2k for a knackered turbo it makes sense to me. |

yeah well i like to think that there's still a bit of room for being up front and straightforward in today's world.

It's a tough one - but if it were me, I would go with a LR warranty if you could. We're spending close to £25K upwards on these cars - would an extra £400 over what these compnaies chanrge be such a big deal? No having to pay out first or go to non LR garages etc.....

don't agree. no need to bend over and take it like a man. encourage the businesses that give you their best price up front. don't give custom to those that offer a bloated price and then almost immediately lower it. to me this is just taking the and i'll take my business elsewhere. |
