Aaarrrggh - They've dented my door

Went on a family day trip to Brighton and when we got back to the car park some Censored has put a big door ding on the rear door. Its a nasty one and has scratched all the paint off on the impact point as well as leaving a dent Evil or Very Mad

It was a good parking space with lots of space on that side so am really annoyed by it Big Cry

Does anyone know any tips for making this better, or a good company in the south east to sort this?

Thanks

Unfortunatly you will always get jealous Censored out there intent on causing damage or people who are just to thick to realise their actions, This type of problem is always a worry for me when i park up so I am very picky when it comes to parking spaces. I tend to choose end spaces where you only get a 50% chance of someone doing any damage or if I see a car with child seats in i refuse to park next to them, another tip is park next to newer more expensive cars as they tend to be owned by people who care about their own cars. Agree with the first two but not the last one. IME newer more expensive cars are usually company cars and the drivers of them counldn't care less as any damage to the car will be paid for by the company anyway. Always steer clear of newish Mercs and Beemers myself. Gordon Kerr

Hey So Sorry to hear about your car. Its always annoying when you treat things with respect and others don't.

Go by my theory. .

You pay what 750GBP road tax.. This is twice as much as others. So take up two spaces. Smile

I was actually sitting in my RRS in a carpark when this muppet decided to get in his beaten up Astra and ding my door despite me leaving ample room to avoid this happening. I jumped out of the car and tapped on his window and asked what the F Censored he was playing at? He was clearly embarressd at being caught and gave some limp insincere,no eye conact apology before driving off? I knew there was very little I could do about a situation like that so I decided to give his door a kick to serve as a reminder? Happy days Evil or Very Mad

the lack of respect for others is mind-blowing..
quite usual to see people with older crapy cars not giving a Censored kicking the doors open regardless of the car park next to it.. and dont get me started with the little kids driving the shop-carts (is it call that?) in the supermarket parking like they are rally cars, and the parents just going about their normal conversations not putting those little terrors in their place!

sorry, but this really ticks me.. i have "baggage" Evil or Very Mad http://paulomartinsphotography.tumblr.com

@ barry15555,

I am in Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Annoying thing was it was a 'good' space. I too am very picky where I park sometimes going round a car park a couple of times to find the best space. This one had a pillar one side so no-one able to park there and I tucked her in tight against this so there was a lot of space the other side. (Trying to avoid getting a lasting momento of the parking experience) Evil or Very Mad

Thanks all for your support. Calmed down a bit after a couple of days but still really Censored me off.

Cheers,

Pat 2011 Autobiography Santorini Black
