rear window scratching boot

anybody had a problem with this? 5 scratches have appeared on the lower boot where the glass hatch hits the lower bit, not all the way along, an inch scratch evenly spaced. have had the car since december. the upper hatch will have to be adjusted, but in the meantime i have the scratches. I just had mine re-painted because of this. You are able to adjust the close of the rear window against the hatch by unscrewing the rubber doolywigs. Dealer re-painted without a problem. 2006 RRS 4.4l V8 Tonga Green/Ivory
