Suspension Fault

I notice no one has complained about this recently

...have recent software updates cured the problem?

I ask because someone is feeding my mother propaganda against the RRS (even got her to believe an X3 is more prestigious >.>) and if I convince her to buy the RRS she will kill me if it gets stuck in access height.

And she recently questioned me directly about the reliabilit of the electronics...

X3 more prestigious than a RRS? That argument I would like to hear! Wink

It's the same old thing really isn't it - I've not had any reliability issues with mine at all for example, but then some have. By the same token, I never had any reliability issues with any of my Beemers, but some people have had dodgy ones (and BMWs are generally perceived to be bulletproof against LR for example)... your own experience tends to mark out how you perceive a cars reliability. There's no surefire way to ensure you get no problems from a brand new car... if you want to lessen the risk, get your mum to buy a 2CV - one can rebuild the entire car in 15 mins if you need to Wink

haha

im trying.

The thing is, we will only have a small local dealer, with the main dealer being 200km away.

I dont want her to have to drive 200km on African roads in acces height.

Fair enough but then who's to say it will happen to yours? In reality, it's only happened to a small number of owners here (probably less than 10 out of 484 registered users).... but you pays your money and you takes your choice.
