@Supertrotter: as for the *SKODA* i LOVE the sound of the 10 cyl. engine - i once got invited by a friend of mine who is the managing director at the factory owned Porsche Centre here in Stuttgart to sit in the Carrera GT and have a small ride - same engine noise - 10 cyl. ROCKS !

I do have a thing for unusual engine configs.

Years ago I had a Golf V5 which was an ok car, but the engine noise reminded me of the original Audi Quattro i fell in love with as a kid.

V10's sound amazing - Gallardo, M5 (Awful @ tickover/gorgeous evry other time), Carrera GT (Beautiful car/engine - Embarrassing wooden gear knob!)

Gallardo is definitely on my list of cars to own, hopefully sooner rather than later! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award
