More Bluetooth help please?

Hi all

Since getting my 05 S/C in November the Bluetooth has never worked. I have posted on here several times and tried various things to fix the problem but still nothing. Basically i can not find the RRS with any phone when i search from the phone. Its like the Bluetooth is off.

To date if have had the module software updated by wiggs from D3 and he tried my module in his vehcile before and after the update. He reported it worked before the upgrade but dropped calls sometimes then after the update it was perfect. Upon refitting to my RRS i am still unable to find the RRS with any of the 3 different phones i tried.

I get a "PHONE REMOVED" message in the radio display when i enter the RRS so i thought perhaps it thinks that a cradle is connected in the centre console and it has given priority to this (as per the handbook) thus turning my Bluetooth off but as there isnt a cradle and phone connected i get the message.

I have now disconnected the cradle docking connection by removing the cool box and unplugging it. I hoped that might activate the Bluetooth but still nothing.

I did a self test on the system (accessing the hidden menu in the nav) and found it strange that it didnt pick up that the cradle hard connection was unplugged. It does pick up that my RSE DVD changer is disconnected (its away being refurbished) so i assumed it was find the phone unplugged.

Im at a loss with this, does anyone have any ideas where i can go next ?. The dealer will plug it in to the computer to try and solve the problem but if the RRS isnt showing the fault how will the diagnose it?. I dont want to pay endless sums of money to have the take the RRS apart.

For now i will plug the cradle docking point back in Big Cry

Carl
