Hi everyone. was at the dealer yesterday. Service manager is a friend. He'd 'phoned to say there was a patch to improve the heaters efficiency. When I dropped it off I asked about ECU upgrade, which he said would be automatically done.

Thanks for the info, the "ECU Upgrade" you mention sounds like the "chipping" ECU upgrade or am I totally confused? It's finally gone! Replaced with BMW 730SE in Sophisto grey Xirallic finish with Oyster (Ivory) and black interior. DAB, Climate glass, Ceramic iDrive and gear selector, power boot and iPhone Bluetooth pack - luvvin' it! I miss my old RRS "bucket" rattling around but it just had to go! |

It isn't a chip at all.................... there have been a lot of issues with poor warm-up, flat spots, and poor running engines so the ECU software has been upgraded and it is installed when your car goes in for attention or a service and should cure all sorts of problems with Hifi. air con distribution, ventilation, engine performance and so on. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Martin, I think you should get the parts that are relevent to the S/C like heating, logic 7 and aircon. Ask them when you collect it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Tim- I'm using Taggarts in Motherwell as they are the supplying dealer. They have been great so far(but my friend works there).
