Brembo Brakes

How do you change the brake pads on a 07 sport s/c, do you have to unbolt the caliper? i have read somewhere that you just have to remove the pins, if so do they unscrew? and is there a sensor on each pad.

thanks in advance
john

I was gust changing my nuts and locking nuts yesterday for shiny new ones. I noticed the locking wheel nuts do seem to be constructed in two parts. A base and a cap stuck togeter. Possibly for security.
The lower part of the locking nuts do have locator grooves. So I suspect you have not inserted the adaptor deep enough over the nut causing breaking the seal causing the head to rotate.
You. Should be able to locate the grooves in line and fully insert the locking nut adaptor. May need a slight tap with a soft mallet
Hope this helps.

thanks that is brilliant, being as i cant get the front wheel off i will do the rear ones tonight, booked the car in the garage for tomorrow. the guy there says it happens a lot and he has all the drills and bits to get it off, also ordered a new set off ebay for £40 as the adapter has rounded corners on it and i dont want problems if i get a flat tyre.
