From the little knowledge I have the only difference on the aftermarket side steps is the way they are fitted, LR patented the easy fitting so everyone has to work around that Sad

I got a set identical to OEM from a place in Liverpool, took the local bodyshop a while to fit but they cannot be distinguished from the real deal Smile

At least in that picture it looks like you get supplied with the plastic trim. The side steps i bought i had to cut out the plastic and use my original trim.

The quality of the OEM sidesteps are rotten, my aluminimu trim or whatever it is supposed to be fell off the other day.

A phone call to my dealer informs me that this is a most common occurence and that they will rectify it by fitting discreet screws to the steps.

Closer inspection shows that the rivets along the centre of the trim have all corroded away.

I wonder if the replicas would be of the same quality?
