Hi all - we all make comments on reliability with our beloved RRS and there are those that are on the site that openly boast that their BMW's / Porsche Cayennes are the dogs ......

Surprised WW given your many posts on your RRS knocking issue that you would call it outstanding? |

Proir to the RRS i had a Vauxhall Antara, for those who may not know it's very similar to a Chevolet Captiva in fact they are built in the same factory. On two occasions whilst driving around roundabouts the power steering locked up nearly causing an accident. Took it into Vauxhall's as it was under warranty only to be told after collecting the car that no fault could be found. In the space of a couple of months it happened again a further 3 times all when approaching roundabouts, it was the last straw when the wife was driving with the Kids she refused to drive it! and to think I traded in my ageing D3 for this piece of The point is Vauxhall knew there was a serious problem but didn,t want to know! and after reading a Vauxhall forum I soon found out this was not an isolated case. The moral of the story don't buy Vauxhall! but I dont need to tell you that who would after driving an RRS. BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08 |

not surprised at Vauxhall to be honest, a close friend in Wycombe had a Isuzu Trooper, originally he had the Vauxhall badged version, they had no idea how to repair or service it, he traded it in with Isuzu, got the same vehicle with a different badge on the front and a far better technical and customer service attitude...

I was merely pointing out to those on this forum that pay homage to the blue and White propeller that they aren't perfect ! I have had 3 beemers and loved them but had issues (lots of them) with 2 of them .

.........which sums up everything nicely. Visit other car related forums / websites and they do seem to pay homage to their preferred brand, there are great hostilities between the Audi, Merc and BMW fraternity and probably will be until the end of time, the hilarity is that in most cases and with their restricted grammatical abilities, it can only be likened to a playground full of 9 year olds.....something you would never see on this site, naturally...........
