I seem to remember it's key turn and pull green nob out and twist the whole lot. The problem is the fitting is tight and a little hammering helps, but be careful not to have your feet underneath as the hook weighs a few llbs! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Tried a little hammering and also the old WD40 left for a few days. Could try a little heat?? Failing that out comes the angle grinder. Haha 08MY HSE 3.6 TDV8 Stornoway Grey, Twisted performance cat back... and shed loads of extras!!! |

I know several people who have had the same problem - all have had to resort to some heat to free it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Just replace the lock and the green handle, only a tenner from the dealers, for the complete unit. |
