My 3.6 HST MY08 is due its 40000 service and I have just been quoted £468.54 including vat from Stratstones is this the going rate or should I be looking elsewhere? could someone please advise. BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08

I paid £399 for the 3rd year 45k service from Farnells in Leeds a couple of months ago. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

10forcash did mine today, 4 year service £365 and he comes to your place

If I were to get 10forcash to service the vehicle wouldn't that invalidate my warranty?
I also asked Stratstones what would the cost be to extend the warranty for another year, they quoted £799.00

No I believe 10forcash is LR approved - check though. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

10forcash does warranty work for some companies not sure which.

You can have your car serviced anywhere and as long as genuine parts are used, which he does, then it does not invaslidate your warranty. About the only good thing to come out of the EU

When serviced this time round, still had original fuel filter on, from new, should of been replaced 2 years ago and the brake fluid test revealed that was not changed last year either.

If this has not been done, paying good rates to dealers, what are you going to get at cut rates


The price paid included a new air filter which is not on the standard service schedule and a couple of other minor jobs, all which would of been added extras at the dealers.

Even though seeing some cheaper prices,( though in remote parts of the UK ) that a good balance between cost and service received was struck and certainly much more peace of mind that the job has been done good

Lespes - Is this not a case of due diligence when booking and receiving the car, download the service schedule from Bobby's gallery and ensure that everything that is listed is done, Stratstone where trying to tell me that items needed to be done when the fact was they didnt i do not think it is about price it is about ensuring they are doing what they should
