Hi all, i have a 2007 RR Sport TDV8 with 65k miles and fsh which i have a fault with and hope someone can help me in identifying the problem. I was driving the other day on the motorway and it started to hesitate very slightly, this got gradually worse until it started lurching heavily under any sort of acceleration. This eventually ended up in a dramatic loss of performance and the car would only go quite slowly with hardly any power at all. I norticed then that all the relays under both sides of the dash started to click away furiously with multiple electrical failiures in the car, like windows, heated seats, blower etc all not working but intermittently so the car would burst into life again albeit briefly. I stopped the car and left it overnight. The next day the car started and the engine check light was on for a while but the electrics functioned ok. I had it taken to the main agent where it is now but when i was there with the car and started to show the technician, there were more faults showing on the dash like gearbox fault, engine fault and suspension fault. The diagnositic showed up two pages of failiures but i think this is obviously something like an earth somewhere or some other electrical control unit. Does anyione have any experience of this kind of problem with a TDV8? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, the dealer has not yet found anything to report. V8 |
