RRS or Evoque

I was all set on ordering a new RRS this week, when my wife has put a spanner in the works by saying she fancies the Evoque instead !!!
Should I wait for the more styleish modern looking Evoque or go with the RRS??
Advice please....... Big Cry

Tell her that cars are what men do, like football. Also tell her to put the kettle on and make a cuppa! Wink

Depends what the need is. The RRS is proven the Evoque isn't. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I can imagine that the waiting list for the Evoque is so long that you could buy a sport for a year, run it and then swap.

So who is the car for you or you mrs?
If its for the mrs i guess you won't have a say in the matter, i think the evoque will be a big hit with the ladies.

The car is for me, but the wife will drive occasionally, she has her own vehicle, I guess I could go with the RRS and then trade it in for an Evoque after a year or so..

The Evoque is small and if you are taller than a dwarf you may find it cramped. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Ive got 2 on order with my dealers, but since my visit to the London Boat Show where i sat in the 2 door and 4 door Evoque im now not sure, Though the speach made did boast the 0-60 of a TDV8 if the petrol turbo engine choice was made.

Without causing offence to its owners, i dont want a modern looking Freelander 2 !!.
Though my dealer assures me that it cant have a RR badge and drive like a freelander, but im unsure.

I worry for the engine choices available and a few other little things like what size trailer it can tow for me personally etc etc, at this moment im on the fenct with my order.

Nice, smart, trick and modern looking car for sure, but i have my reservations untill ive driven one proplery.

I think the cars market seems to be for the wife of the bloke who has a FFRR TDV8 but she does not want a FFRR cos its to big and she does not want a freelander because they are to cheap and common, she wants a RR but not a big one which is where the Evoque comes in.

i think it will fill this market nicley.

I have seen the 3 and 5 door in the flesh now Paris and the boat show, it is a lovely car for a 20 something or the wife, but it is not a Range Rover.

Yes it will add the the Range Rover mark and stunning it is to but can't compare it to a RRS tho...... Thumbs Up

The answer is in your question.

You (a man i presume) chooses the RRS.
Your partner (a woman) chooses the Evoque.

So.......the question is: are you a man or a............hairdresser? SW

Sometimes it is not enough to do our best;
sometimes we must do what is required.
