hi chaps,
my gearbox has gone a bit wonkey just now, when i pull up to a junction it seems to stop in 2nd then you get a noticible "thump" when it finds first when stationary, maybe 2 or three seconds after stopping.
anyone else had this? i will take it in to the dealers this week to check it out before something bad happens!!

Mine does a similar thing but only at one particular junction. (One I do every day unfortunately)

Is the lead in to the junction down hill?

Mine gets itself into a right state and when you touch the accelerator you get nothing then bam, it changes down and you jerk forward...not found a way of avoiding it just yet.
