BK there is to much glass to board it, a small rain forest would have to be sacrificed Nope i have taped the windows, london blitz stylie and hopefully most of the real scary stuff will pass further north as predicted .. So a bit of precautionary taping Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Thinking of you guys and saying a little word to the big guy upstairs to be gentle with you, even if you did smash us in the cricket.

Understand if you have lots of glass. We had bolt on hurricane boards made after the first one hit us which made life easier the next time. A direct hit from a Cat 2 / 3 was bad enough. I hope this one at least reduces intensity as the first bands cross the coast, sometimes the friction just takes it down that one notch which can make all the difference. JS i think we are reasonably safe in the Whitsundays, it is at the furthest edge of the cyclone

JS not a problem, let me know your proposed route and plans and we will work around it, not had a holiday for 18 months, so a nice breeze down to Melbourne sounds a great idea Another Pommie Bar Steward down under

VA hoping for a reasonably uneventful night.. all calm now, no doubt before the storm hits further up North a lot later.. but we are out of the real danger impact zone Another Pommie Bar Steward down under MY20 Defender 110 SE P400 Eiger/Ebony MY10 3.0 RRS TDv6 Fuji/Ebony/Anigre |

Morning all and the Whitsundays seems to have been spared, we were on the edge of it, but not so lucky for Tully and Innisfail that seems to have borne the brunt of it..
