This has probably been asked a thousand times before but I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

My Father in Law has just bought a Mondeo (?!) and I was quite impressed with the Ipod integration - inside the glovebox is a USB input and a charging point. I gave him a spare ipod I had and now he just leaves it in the glove box all the time and can fully control the ipod via the sat nav screen.

I have a 2008 RRS and hate the way my ipod connects ... very nearly crashed last week trying to find an album whilst driving .. not good. i have been thinking about upgrading to a MY10 model and I think if it has full ipod integration as above then this could swing it for me.

Can anyone confirm that this is or isn't the case? i presume there are ways of achieving this in my current RRS if I knew what little gizmo's to buy?

Yes the MY10 has full ipod integration, you just need to purchase the lead. It works as well as any car I have seen. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award
