Bit of an update for you peeps, guess what?? New turbo! If you are getting ESFs, absolutely dire mpg (20% down) and get up & go has got up and gone then your turbo could well be fooked! Now the techie bit, actuator seized so wastegate wide open, hence the thirst.

Coz of this my wife is doing a 1200 mile round trip to N Scotland in a Honda Jazz as she cant risk the D3! LRs, don't you just love em!

Well just renewed my membership of CFT (for those that don't frequent D3side Club Fooked Turbo). Car at Guava having a new one fitted. It's the pin that links the servo to the variable vane package that has seized and needs a whole new turbo. Body off job as bolts for old turbo rusted on. Sad

It may also be a fuel pump in the interim tank - had this issue on my FFRR couple of years back and the engine always cutt off as if out of fuel with engine system fault message. worth to check Wink
