United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Has anyone had any experience of Pro-bitz?

Morning all.

A friend has a pro-bitz chip on his VW pickup thing and looking at their website they do one for the TDV6, he reckons increases performance & fuel economy.

http://www.pro-bitz.com/eshop/products/die...d_739.html

Just wondering what the general consensus is?

My RRS is still under warranty so am loathed to re-map it, but one of these plug & play things would be ideal as getting a bit Censored off with the suicide pull away!

Any knowledge gratefully received!

There are divided views on the subject of tuning boxes or tuning chips.

If you put both options into the search engine you will have a couple of hours of reading to mull over the advantages and consequences of each option. Better to research Whistle this way since you will see all of the various views rather than just one or two replies or links to one or two threads on the subject. My opinion of tuning boxes, particularly those at the cheaper end of the spectrum, due to their inability to change only one parameter, is also well documented in some of the resulting threads.

A proper remap which has the ability to change all required parameters is by far the better way forward. Although the one you mention may not come up in the search at £100 it will certainly only be a resistor changing the fuelling parameter
