2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

How long's a piece of string... Wink

or more to the point how deep is your pocket

When spec'ing up an SE there will come a point when you'd be better off just getting an HSE.

My recommendations

20" wheels for starters then side steps, tinted windows, gloss black door handle grips & mud flaps.

To push the boat out a tad get the plastic trims colour coordinated but not so desperate on Black cars as on other colours.

Interior... the 2011 interior is drop dead anyway, but piano black with contrast stitching is Bow down imho... Thumbs Up RRS gone

20 inch wheels and factory tints. As awd man says there is a point when the HSE makes more sense. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Baltic Blue

Not got mine yet only just ordered it, personally I like black cars but so many of them so as I also like blue/black going for Baltic Blue as both X5 and current BM 5 series are/have been carbon black.

So Baltic Blue, Ivory/Ebony contrast stitching, adaptive headlights, premium mats, iPod/phone cable on TDV6 HSE. Just can't wait for delivery now. Will have side panels and flaps fitted by dealer.

I have had black for last 5 cars but went for grey this time - easier to keep clean - had to wash black every time we used it Evil or Very Mad

I have taken the 20's off my HSE for winter and fitted 19's - may keep them on because give a much better ride Shocked

Went for factory tint this time - looks so much better than aftermarket Very Happy

Used to go mad on extras but not any more due to loss on p/x - now buy spec closest to my requirements and live with it knowing I will get best price when I change Thumbs Up

Good luck with the purchase Cool Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HST Java Black

I agree with muddywheels, all my previous cars I have spent a fortune putting on extra's only to lose out when selling it on, so I did the right thing this time in buying a HST which has everything on and then some. You may think your saving money short term but when it comes to adding extras it can be a bottomless pit!! BLACK RRS HST 3.6 MY08

Mine is black and if you spec the black interior I would advise going for the Ivory contrast stiching as it really helps to break up the dark interior and (IMHO) looks great Cool. I would also spec the dark glass (factory fitted, Not after sales fit) as it especially lends itself to the Black car. The one option I didn't spec, but wish I had, was the heated steering wheel! For the sake of a couple of hundred quid I really regret not having it now that we've had temps as low as minus 22 degrees C up here Big Cry 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black

Hi - I have an SE and like everybody says you might as well go for the HSE if you add too much. In my opinion if you go for the SE you just get the wheels upgraded to the twenties. You get standard leather on the SE so if you go for the upgraded leather and then a few more toys you might as well go for the HSE. I went SE, metallic, twenties and dab radio. Only thing I would recommend that I made a mistake on not ordering was the interior light package which is only about £60 and is well worth it ( standard on HSE) gimmicks such as heated steering wheel, reverting cameras and from PDC are for girls !!!!! Blokes don't need em so spec them if the miss us is driving. Enjoy the beast they are terrific ! Thumbs Up 2016 MY16.5 HSE, 21" Rims, Waitamo Grey, Cirrus Leather, Extended Leather, Meridian sound
