Hi,

just drooling over some videos on youtube and wondered what controls are on the doors of the rrs (rear)... and what option are they called? are they standard on hse?

I'm thinking you are looking at the controls for the entertainment system. Not standard.....pretty sure it is an optional premium sound system.....but I'm sure someone will be right along with a definitive.

i think i've seen them on models without the rear dvd screens...which is what confused me...

I have a RRS HSE and the only controls on my rear doors are for the windows so what ever you've seen must be optional.....

Yup....that is just to allow the rear passengers to listen to something different from the adults in the front.....via headphones.

Standard in my HST, allows rear passengers to listen and control the head unit from the rear and listen to different things, pretty cool really...you need to have head phones fitted though!

I've got it in my First Edition with factory rear screens.

You could have them as an option with pro-logic systems and didn't have to have rear DVD...not sure if thats the case now, but used to be that way when I had a SC First Edition...

I have them in my 2010 HSE. They work great, allowing my son to listen to a different source through headphones. I do not have the rear seat DVD screens. I do have the prologic as it was standard on the 2010 HSE. Scuderia RR
