Took me about 1 hour 45 minutes to do the 1st side (just sussing everything out really) and an hour to do the other side, one person can do it fairly easy, just put vehicle on full height suspension, you don't need jacks, mine came supplied with the cut out sills, i wouldn't fancy having to cut the existing sills out though. Good luck

Just give them a tug they are fitted with plastic clips that usually break but don't worry because you should of been supplied with new ones in the kit.

My kit didnt have the new sills in it, im relying on taking the existing ones off and cutting them then refitting. I have bought 12 x new clips incase they do break but the sills look securely fastened, do i simply pull from underneath and they will come loose?

Yep, which side steps did you buy then? ive thrown my old sills in a skip you could of had them to cut out before you started the job, have you got templates to cut out the sills then?

I bought a set of used genuine LR steps for a great deal because the bolts & nuts were missing. I sorted that relatively easily (i hope).

I have got a copy of the LR fitting instructions for the latest part no which shows the dimensions for cutting because LR no longer supply new sills, they cut them aswell.

I guess your old ones are long gone then Sad
