2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

Just my opinion...
I much prefer the 5 spoke alloys
Adaptive front lights are very good and cool to watch Cool
I'd upgrade the hifi over the tyre pressure monitors, sunroof or cameras. edit, looks like that comes standard on the autobiography so never mind!

Why are you paying for mats and metallic paint when they are listed as standard on the Autobiography?

Good choice on the Grand Black Lacquer finish! That does look good. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

I'm going to say something here, but rather stupidly with no other suggestion to back it up...

But I think £70K is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on an RRS, as much as I love the car. I'm looking to get a nearly new one soon, and will spend £50K, but I just think that extra £20K makes it crazy.

And yes even if I had that kinda money knocking around, I would go FFRR route and not RRS

JF, I know you're not going to change your mind mate, but what happened to you wanting a FFRR? The 4.4 TDV8 is a stonkingly great engine....

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Shocked Shocked for that price you could have a 4.4TDv8 FFRR where most of what you have specced for the RRS is standard........................ and you get more torque, better performance, less emissions, better consumption, adaptive cruise and brembo brakes thrown in. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

I must admit ... as much as I love RRS if I was told I had £70k to spend on one car I would be looking down the route of Ferrari F430, Audi R8, 911 GT3 etc etc

Cracking spec though Thumbs Up

JF and me were just talking about this issue and £70K is a funny amount in terms of cars and buying new - there isn't much in the market, new, which you could buy..

R8 - still an audi with TT seats
430 - ridiculous servicing costs and an average interior
997 - why would you?

Year old AM V8 makes sense, but not sure it's an every day car.....

I'd still go for a Panamera!!! haha...yeah yeah I know....but what an interior!!!!!

sounds a very nicely spec'ed car, but i have to say Tim makes sence in saying FFRR Smile

but then a RRS is a younger mans car Wink when you get the FFRR you know your over the hill Laughing

Two very different propositions………. It is certainly down to personal preference when you are looking at the top specification level in one model line compared to the entry level in another line for the same money.

…… after all, if it was that simple and they were that similar then Land Rover wouldn’t have launched the RRS.

I know what I’d opt for! Whistle

The big factor that no one has mentioned is company car tax.......

That was a big factor.....

Anyway James while you're on thanks for all your help and Jeremy's but my local garage won this one.....

as I said to Jeremy whenever I buy a car I just go to 2 places and ask for the best price and the best price wins, no going back and forth in a dutch auction.

Cheers
Thumbs Up

Hope to see some snaps (especially of the interior) when you get it.

Ah I see, I've had the same problem in the past.

It works out extortionate amounts if you get a thirsty car.
