Hi all

For the 3rd time in a week or so i have experienced some strange behaviour from my 2005 S/C when i turn the ignition off. Once i turn the key to the off position and switch everything off i get a puff of air from the air vents, remote central locking activates, sat nav display flashes & the park brake symbol flashes on my dash. The puff of air and locking activate alternatively to each other and im sure the sat nav display does also although im not sure which one it goes off with, air vents or locking

Its like its playing a game with me, it goes puff, lock, puff, lock and all the while the sat nav display lights up, goes off, lights up, goes off, as does the park brake symbol. One thing to note is that i am unable to lock / unlock the RRS when this is happening unless i hold the lock / unlock button in for about 5 seconds.

No error messages are displayed.

Once locked and everything stopped i can leave it for say half an hour or so and its perfectly fine when i start it up.

I do get HDC system error messages every time i start up but id put that down to a duff battery. I charged the battery to 100% capacity last night but still got the message this morning. It does still start every time and the HDC message goes off after a second, it has done this for a couple of months and hasn't got any worse, even in the bad weather recently.

Anyone ever experience the symptoms from the first part of this post? The second part about HDC was just to help with symptoms.

Duff battery. Can do all sorts of weird things in D3s and would imagine same in RRS, latter being a D3 in drag!
