DVD /ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM

Hi, picked up my new HST yesterday 08MY, It has factory fitted screens in the headrest but I hav'nt had the chance to play with it yet, my question is should it have come with a remote control and headphones as I wasn't given these and are they something that can be purchased separatly either from the dealers or OEM? will the system work without these? Im going to chase up the dealer who sold it to me but if anyone could give me the answers on this forum that would be great Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Hi, only had mine just over a week now 06 S/C on a 55 plate I have factory fitted DVD's in the headrests and a 6 loader DVD player in the boot. Mine did come with remote but no headphones. The dealer told me that the headphones were extra and the previous owner didn't include them in the sale I think they may have gone missing somewhere along the line! Anyway there are headphone sockets in the rear doors with controls should I want to connect my own. I'm sure you can get RR cordless ones? Hope this helps..... Good luck! I love mine; hate putting it in the garage at night & considering selling my other car as I can't see while I will ever want to use it again!!

PS. Here a link to a set: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Range-Rov...255d4eda13 Cheers Laurence.

Yes, it should have come with a remote and two head sets that plug into the rear door tops.

Mine is an 05 S/C First Edition so has the rear screens. It came with an Alpine type remote control but no headphones so i think i am missing them. Can the cordless ones be used or plug in only?

As far as I'm aware the system only comes with a remote control. The cordless headphones will not work. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

the cordless ones were MY11 or maybe MY12 - they run from an IR transmitter in the roof lining so I don't believe are backwardly compatible with earlier cars Question ============
2010 TDV8 HSE - ooo laa laaaaaaaaa
2007 TDV8 HSE - superb car and very reliable

2012 - dearly departed, sadly missed.. to return in late 2013 with a new TDV8!
