2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Headlight delay

I have tried to activate the headlight delay but don't seem to be getting anywhere.
With the ignition on i'm pressing the LR button on the remote whilst giving the headlights a flash, but no beep as the manual suggests, where am i going wrong?

Also on the settings menu it says door autolock is set to 'on' but i can't say i've noticed the locks locking whilst driving, do i have to set something via the remote too?

Don't switch the ignition on.

Press and hold the LR button on the key and pull the indicator stalk towards you to flash.

You should hear a 'ping' which then menas the botton is set to activate the lights.
