Problem with random engine cutting out on 2.7 TDV6

Hi, I have a problem with a 2007 2,7 TDV6 range rover which every once in a while the engine will just cut out, normally arround the 30 - 40mph range. The engine cuts out and the power steering stops. However once the car has stoped it will start again and then run fine. This problem tends to happen once every few weeks.

It has had a new fuel pump fitted by Range Rover (a few weeks back as part of a recall) and the battery and earth straps etc have been checked and confirmed as ok.

If anybody has any ideas or experience this problem please let me know. My next thought is it might be the crank angle sensor, or could be the ecu?? Any clues would be appreciated.

Thanks

Gareth
