What does this button do?

It's to the right of the "PCD off", "lock" and "unlock" buttons above the radio.

It's a car with a triangle around it

I know it's in my manual but that's in the car and I'm sat in a nice, comfy, warm office and it's raining (now bugging me)  RRS gone

to the right? I dont have any such buttons? the one on the "left" is DSC. once you switch (shown on the dash as a car in a triangle). also known as ESC.

I think I've worked it out... it's something to do with the adaptive cruise control

I can turn the forward radar on, even with cruise control turned off?+

(I have an additional button to the right of the lock button) RRS gone

It's the forward alert button, it uses the Adaptive Cruise Radar to warn you of anything infront of you, it can be set for distance just the same as the ACC.

Sounds plausible mate, but would that really have a switch? I would have though it would have always been on. Any more for any more?
