As we all do from time to time, I have been speccing cars online this evening - just did a HSE Disco4 with all options and it came out at £58,545

It is a ridiculous price. I said I'd never buy brand new again but getting a new car out the wrapper always makes you smile... until it loses half it's value. |

RRS and D4 prices here are now $20k more than two years ago.....that's close to a 20% increase.

Nick - I did the same for the FL2 as you - really pricing me out of the market completely - but clearly thats not an issue with there current production figures |

thats pretty much what happened here with the new model, although there is much more standard kit than before, if and when the next gen rrs comes out and if they have the same price hike, i dare say it will push it way beyond my budget! you are correct about what they think the market will take, if you took all the countries they supply and compared the pre tax/vat prices there would be a huge difference - i bet they supply Oz cheaper than here but because of the various taxes you pay it works out dearer (i bought a car in holland a few years ago and the pre tax price was 25% less than here!!) cheers dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps! Kaine I did the same the other day for the D4, RRS and Big Daddy, after all my opitions there was roughly a 20k difference between them all. |

Black I think - I have placed an order for the hybrid, but still no dates confirmed so final spec is not decided. Like the idea of white, but not sure. Wifey is going to have the final call as its going to be her car

Just went and searched the GL it's no looker, but spec wise it was good, liked the auto folding 3 row seats, just one press of a button and bobs your uncle |
