RRS capability in the snow | |
It's been a while since I last posed on the site. Been busy etc. Well, for the second time in the space of 12 months we have had atrocious weather up here in Scotland with major snowfall. My village is cut off to all but 4x4, tractor and quad owners. I have driven my trusty RRS on roads and tracks these last few days that are completely inaccessible to anything other than a great 4x4. I have rescued others, towed stranded cars and even had to use the hill decent once - and by god does it work. Makes me realise just how good our cars really are despite the occasional moan we all have about the odd knock here and there. Is there any other vehicle that comes close to the Land Rover family (RRS, Disco 4 FFRR)? I don't think so. After 3 and a bit years of ownership, I still love my RRS to bits. Marvelous. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....
