United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Model upgrades S/C 2005/2006???

Hi guys,

I'm looking for my 1st RR's I have driven all three models V6 the TDV8 & S/C that latter being by far my my favorate so far! As I'm only going to be doing around 3 to 5k a year I don't really think the fuel is going to be a problem.

Anyway my question was there any upgrades to the S/C worth knowing about before the 2010 model? I'm looking at low milage 2005 & 2006 models

Be interesting to hear what the Supercharged drivers are getting to the gallon if you care to say!!! Cheers Laurence.

No mods to talk about until the MY10 changeover.

MPG wise, if your sensible (which you won't be in a S/C) you will see 15-16mpg........wear those lead toe-capped boots and you will be down between 8-12. If you floor the a$$ of it as some on here have when we have met for one of our meet extravaganza's, my personal record is 7MPG (that's what the computer told me anyway) probably less Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Who cares anyway, you only live once and you might as well enjoy a V8 Supercharged petrol whilst they exist, we will all be forced to drive Ecoshite cars within the next 10-15 years!! Big Cry Big Cry

PS: The Diesels are good, very good, but they are not anywhere near close when it comes to shear excitement and drama that the SC whine gives you............absolutely unbeatable, anyone that tells you different is either lying or deaf! Thumbs Up Mr. Green L322 Big Daddy SUPERCHARGED 5.0 Autobiography - Here & Now!

5 series for the miles Smile

RRS S/C factory built HST - Gone

45 others have been and gone!

United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black

Hi there

As above, no real upgrades to speak of however not all come with every extra (took me an hour to realise that I had bought one without the tv)

Couldnt resist testing the mpg for the first couple of weeks when I bought mine.....

motorway @ 60 = 23 (with very,very careful driving, -3mpg if using cruise control)
motorway @ 70 = 21 (with very,very careful driving, -2mpg if using cruise control)
motorway @ 80 = 19 (with very,very careful driving, -2mpg if using cruise control)
around town = 14
sporty driving = 9
really flooring her = 4 (ouch!)

Lots of problems already, but generic Range Rover Sport ones nothing Supercharged specific.
Hope it helps, and for what its worth she is absolutely amazing to drive!

Mark
