I am going out to hopefully buy a 2.7HSE RRS this weekend, the car is a 2008 car with 25k miles and fsh.
Is there a major service due at 3 years and what would be the cost (roughly).
Also, what mileage / timescale are timing belts replaced or does the engine have a chain?
The reason i ask is i'm wanting to factor in costs to reduce my opening offer.
If anyone can suggest anything else, much appreciated.

The service intervals are 15,000 miles or 12 months whichever comes first, so your proposed purchase will be due the 45,000 mile service at 3 years.

Service can be quite expensive, labour rate at my local dealer is £110/hr, which I beleive is about the norm.
