I've got a MY2008 TDV6 and a few questions...

1) On selecting "4x4 Info" mode on the Nav screen, and then "Compass", the box that would otherwise show the compass, says "Compass Not Available". I've got it in "Off-road" mode, but no compass.... Any ideas?

2) How do I know whether I've got the e-diff on the rear? Again, on selecting "4x4 Info" mode on the Nav screen, and an "Off-road" mode using the Terrain Response Selector, I can see two padlocks on the schematic at the centre and the rear, but I presume this doesn't necessarily mean I've got the rear e-diff? I haven't managed to find any terrain where I've seen the rear diff padlock "lock up" yet...

3) The handbook I've got says only use snow-chains on wheels up to 19" and fit them on the front. The RRS catalog lists a "Spike Spider lookalike" chain that it says will fit wheels up to 20". I'm just about to buy some Spike-Spiders to fit my 20" Stormers so what do people think?

Yeah both sets sold already but by the sounds of it they won't fit 275/40/20's anyway!

Yes, you can use snow chains on 20" wheels, there are various models for sale... however, there is quite a run on them at the moment, I believe stocks are LOW. People are making a lot of money, I think I may invest for winter 2011/12!
