Factory Fitted Rear DVD player sticking and not finding dics

Can anyone help with this please I have a problem with my Factory fitted rear entertainment in that the player either doesnt recognise that the cartidge has discs in it or when it does it starts to freeze during playback!!!

I had this problem on my 2005 RRS - it's a crap dvd player and I seem to remeber the only solution is a new one. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
