Steering Wobble - Not tracking or Wheel Balance Issue

Hi

Sometimes when I get into the car after leaving it overnight - I get a wobble through the steering whilst driving first thing in the morning. If I turn the steering wheel quickly left to right - I can hear a knocking.

Now the car has had new tyres / wheels balanced and tracked - so I can rules these areas out.

Now - this issue does dissapear after around 10 minutes, so I am at aloss as to what this could be.

Has anyone else had or do you have this issue - and could it be caused by the stearing rack, as first thing in the morning I do get a slight delay in the wheels turning (and I do mean slight - not a major play issue) - when I first start the car in the morning.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Jay
