Hi I am new to this forum so dont be too brutal. This is probably a topic you have covered a million times and so I apologise in advance. I am considering buying a RRS, due to my limited budget it will be an early model and diesel i.e. td6 2.7. I have read some stories about engine failure and suspension nightmares, the car I would be buying would probably be a slightly high miler. I was seriously considering a Range Rover 3.0 td6 but have been scared off by stories of gearboxes going pop just for fun. I appreciate that a high tech vehicle will have higher servicing costs. Please tell me all about your experiences, good and bad, with a similar RRS to the one which I hope to buy. I cannot have a car that spends most of it's life on the drive or at the garage.
