United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Java Black
Do i need different front mudlfaps if steps are fitted ?.

Hi all

I'm thinking of adding mudflaps to my RRS (2005 S/C) and i want to know if there are more than one type at the front to compensate for having genuine LR side steps fitted like there is on the FFRR ?.

I haven't got steps yet but will be soon and don't want to fit front flaps now and have to take them off and replace with a step adapted set if you get what i mean.

Anyone know the part no's for the 2005 RRS front & rear ?.

Thanks

Carl

Hi

The same mud flaps are used with or without side steps, fitted mine recently in about 40mins.
Try ebay, I purchased genuine landrover mud flaps for £54 inc delivery.

Hi

This is probably the easiest of all the add-ons to fit. You will need to cut about 150mm off the front wheel arch trim, this just pulls off.

You will require very short pozi-drive screwdriver for the rear flaps, I used a pozi-drive bit in a small socket ratchet, it worked perfectly, the alternative is to remove the rear wheels which is a sledge hammer to crack a nut job!!

Not sure i fancy cutting the trim etc, might buy them independently and have them fitted by LR Sad

There was no cutting at all with the kit I got but mine already had mud flaps on. Thumbs Up Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.
Here 110 black edition defender.

Don't be put off by cutting the trim, take a look first, it is just to cover the lower edge of the wheel arch it simply pulls off and can be cut with a pair of wire snips. I cannot stress enough how simple this job is.....have a go and save yourself pounds!!
