Replacing The Steering Wheel!

Bought one of these today:

LINKY

It looks great on and feel much better than the standard one!

How to:
To replace take off the negative of the battery, (use a 13mm spanner or socket) leave for 2 Min's, either side of the wheel is 2 slots cut out of the plastic (you get a tool to unhook the Air bag included) use this tool in the slots, push it right in and push down on the airbag to slip the tool behind the clips, then pull the tool and you will hear it clunk when released, do the same to the other side then remove the airbag, remember where the wires go and disconnect the 3 wires (2 plugs and 1 earth) to the air bag, remove the airbag then using a 16mm ratchet remove the steering wheel, note the markings on the inside and be sure to replace in the same position when refitting.
Next with the wheel removed swap the parts over making sure you don't snap any of the plastic clips for the buttons as they look real easy to break, there is 7 star drive screws 3 on the inside and 4 on the outside, remove these and move the parts over (make sure you are on something soft like a carpet or put cloths down on a workbench) do everything in reverse order and the airbag should just push back into place, put the battery negative back on start the engine then move the steering wheel all the way left then right to reset the system, then your done Very Happy If it aint broke leave it!
