It is fair to say that before the 'Reassurance Program' was rolled out, that we did have a few DPF issues. That said, the 11my DPF software is programmed in a diffrent way to pre-11my, in so much that the regeneration and limp perameters have been changed. This we are told makes owning/driving a DPF equipped RRS/D4 no different to a non-equipped. Obviously time will tell as we have no experience of the new model, however LR appreciates that the first set of software did limit it slightly.

Sadly not Si. We are assuming that it will be the same as the Autobiography, but without the grilles and bigger wheels. It's a good solution for someone who wants a cheaper package as you could spec an SE and then upgrade to 20" wheels.

Based on my discussions with Land Rover Australia, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it matches this. I was told it was now being offered as an optional body kit here in Australia so I don't reckon it's going out on too much of a limb to think it could be the change in all markets. [/img] |

Saw several transporter loads of those "facelifted" RRS's heading toward Southhampton docks when I drove down the A34 this afternoon - it must be a "standard" model for some right hand drive market. Also saw several RRS painted in what looked like Fuji White RRS with this facelift on the transporters - looks good. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Such a shame the TDV8 is going, but on the upside I'm glad I have mine. I'm still surprised how many people give the car a second look, I think the A/B front end with the grill and spoiler bit sets it apart. Still loving the car sooo much, love that lovely sound and the torque. Looking forward to giving the beastie a run to Holland for the weekend in a couple of weeks. Just love the car still, the novelty hasn't worn off.

Dont worry Tim from what I know LR may have a suprise in store for the RRS sometime soon with regards to a V8 diesel engine Can't say too much more for now but watch out early next year for some exciting news "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

That's identical to the one I saw in St Kilda, same wheels etc, so I guess the same one... |

If you want to see the body kit on a new HSE, Tom Hartley has a lovely white one for sale. |

With regard to the TDV8...... there is no getting away from the sound or the mid-range torque, however on paper (and I stress 'on paper') the 3.0 is so close in terms of performance that the MPG and Co2, and most improtantly demand (very few people opting for 10my TDV8, and if so usually Autobiography), that it doesn't justify it as a viable option with the emissions targets set.
