Supagaurd Paint Protection

I have 'aquired' the stuff to give my car a Supaguard paint protection. It is two bottles of the special liquid, you apply the first stage over the whole car, then apply the second over the top, wait 15 minutes and buff off.

The bottles are pretty small and I've been told there is more than enough to do at least 2 cars in each bottle set, so when dealers chrage you £400 to do it, they are raping your wallet.

I shall try and do it this weekend before the meet so people can see it in the flesh, not that there will be much to see, other than hopefully, a nice shiny car!

Has anyone else ever had it done to their car Question L319 D4 HSE

Hmmm, not sure Cool

Could the drag coefficient of a RRS BE any worse?

I just hope the protection stops dirt sticking to the car as much, it's always so bl**dy filthy! L319 D4 HSE

RRUK - just a word of warning. I have been told it's not advisable to put this stuff on after the car has been on the road a while, the reason being is that all the dirt etc that gets on your paintwork pre treatment will be locked in and you'll never get it out! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

I don't expect to appear on Sunday with a clean car......... weather forecast for Thursday and Friday up here is for "Wintery" showers and that means slush and extra muck on the roads. There used to be a car wash at the Gaydon roundabout where you turn off the M40 to get the BMHC - if it's a jetwash then I'll use it but I will not put my cars through car washes with rotary brushes. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I didn't like to ask which! Seriously sorry about the violation but I hope there's no dents, if it's the bumber I hope it's a small scuff. I had my RRS for 16 days before the big smash. Big Cry Took 3 months to fix. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

It's bad enough to notice as you walk towards it.

Don't think it'll buff out as it has actually gouged the bumper, leaving a defined ridge and I think has gone through paint to the (Primed?) bumper underneath.

I need to sit down in a dark room......with Ms Theriau....... Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Bad news, Super.... Sad

It seems the RRSs attract damage like nothing else. It's odd, I've never owned a car that's had so much happen to it... hopefully, your damage is superficial and isn't easy to spot Very Happy

Hate to say but it's probably a small bodyshop job. Blame it on the wife - works with me even when she doesn't drive the car! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
