Can anyone shed any light on a observation I have made, when standing in traffic for a few minutes the temperature needle goes straight to the top and the red warning light flashes for a few seconds.

It lasts around 5 seconds and then goes back to its normal position half way up.......

Anybody any ideas ? Have looked in manual but cant find anything that leaps out.........

Its happend 4 or 5 times now................

I had this on my old FL2

LRA Guy said faulty sensor for water or possible oil, The garage blamed it on the radiators been clogged in mud (that had been there for 18months)
