Either the fuel prices have doubled since May, or they saw you coming Tim. Oban Times stated petrol was costing £1.31 to £1.53 per litre, still the locals have to take full advantage of rich visitors I suppose. Lol, I didn't need to top up fortunately, used about half a tank in a week on the island, IIRC the locals get red diesel if they don't take their cars off the island so they are paying about 30p a litre! I was told that the reason the price of petrol on the islands is so high is because to get a road tanker full out there requires a special sailing of the ferry - passengers cannot be carried on the same sailing as a road tanker full of of petrol. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
