2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Some new minor mods...

Some slight modifications since my last post in August. The car now has black / silver LR badges on front and rear, together with wheel centres. I’ve toyed with the idea of a Supercharged grille however I think the standard grille looks good with Java Black – as do the badges.

Also added a pair of Hawke smoked side repeaters. Seem to blend in better to the black than the ‘clear’ lenses and hey, anything is better than the horrible orange ones!

Also gone round all the sills with Simoniz trim spray to get that ‘back to black’ look.

Only thing I’m curious about – has anyone ever managed to change the orange indicator strips in the front headlights to clear?

Yes......a few on here have done it but it is not easy. I think it invovles baking the light in the oven to soften the glue

AdamRRS has done it I think

I've seen people cover the strip with vinyl or tint that tiny portion, and it actually looks good on a black car (and is much easier than baking the headlight).
