United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Faded Brembo's

Hi All,

The Brembo callipers on my car are a dull grey colour. Does anyone know what's happened here? Have they been damaged by wheel cleaning acid or were some of them just manufactured in grey?

Either way, I'd like them to be shiney black (with the white decals) - anyone know of how I might get this done - and the cost?

Cheers,
James

Believe it or not they came out the factory like that, and to make them a glossy black you need to take them off and paint them or have a pro do it for you.

Jonas is right, they started out shiny black then LR changed to matt black, looks bad imo.

If you think yours were shiny but have dulled off, clean then with a rub of Autosol for example, this will remove any oxidation that has occurred and bring them back to life.
