Snow Chains??

Hi guys i have got a rrs sc and i want to get it snow chained up for this winter
A, is it possible
B has anyone got a make they can recommend and use

You might find more snowchain info on Disco3

If your thinking just for the UK have you thought about a set of proper winter tyres?

From my Disco days, and assuming that the chassis/body and wheel clearances are the same on a Sport, you have to be quite careful with the chains you pick - they may interfere with the body on full lock. The land Rover chains do not have this problem.

I have a pair of snow socks (must ebay them, not sure they'll fit on my RRS) which work brilliantly BUT may not keep the Gendamerie happy if they are insistent on chains - you're in a 4WD which gets you some slack if they start closing roads.

just something to think about.....

I have a set of Spike Spiders. Easy to fit and no wheel damage.
